3 Ball Park Presidents with Karston Harris

We were excited to make our donation $750 each for the improvement of the ball parks used by our youth. Upkeep of the ball parks has been an ongoing endeavor with wear and tear on the dugouts, bleachers, field maintenance, etc.

Our Vice-President, Karston Harris, presented donations to the President of each of the local ball associations;

Joe Beaubien - Miller Park Diamond Association

These donations were made possible as a result of our 1st Annual Alumni, Friends and Sponsors Golf Outing held at The Links at Echo Springs this past June.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support the North Fork Children’s Foundation. Through your efforts we are able to work together to build a brighter future for our youth.

BSA Troop 28 met Tuesday evening, Oct.6, 2015, and welcomed an unexpected donation. Tom Sturm, Scoutmaster, and Ina Heath, Advancement Chairman, had been notified that the North Fork Children's Foundation (NFCF) wanted to make a donation to the Troop. NFCF's Jenny Burnett, Vice President, presented the Troop with a "Thank You" for their service and a check for $250.00.

The North Fork Children's Foundation heard that Troop 28 was wanting to attend the Philmont Scout Reservation in New Mexico next year and felt that a donation to them would fall within the guidelines of the Foundation; providing service to the youth of our community.

During the NFCF's 2015 Rhythm & Ribs fund raiser Troop 28 had worked the parking lot as a service project and did an excellent job despite the weather.

Troop 28, we thank you again for your service to our community! Support your local Scouts.
